In our latest experiment we collected sounds on a Zoom microphone during a daily contemplative walk. The sounds were then saved as raw data (.raw) ie bits and bites. These images were then opened up in Photoshop to create an image from the sound. The images were extremely complex and so zooming and then capturing these zooms created different views.
These images were then saved as uncompressed image files (.bmp) then opened up in Audacity as a sound file. Creating the following sounds:
