AwhiWorld Projection Based Projects
Animate content, live mix to music and project onto … well anything you like.
On the weekends of 15th/16th of February and 29th Feb/1st of March two separate workshops are happening in the Dargaville CBD. Another is taking place in March at the Kauri Museum, Matakohe.
One of NZ’s leading VJ’s, AwhiWorld Artist ( (and PT NorthTec Tutor) Kim Newall will be facilitating a two day session on stop motion animation, live visual mixing and projection mapping.
Places are free but very limited. The target range are youth 16 to 24 who are living or have strong connections to the Kaipara District.
This project is part of a series of NYSAF creative technology workshops in Northland. It was initiated by Creative Northland in partnership with NorthTec Applied Arts. It has been kindly funded by the Northland Youth Arts and Capability Fund ( a joint initiative by Creative New Zealand and the Ministry of Youth Development).
