AwhiWorld brought Dargaville night life to a whole new level, wowing audiences at the annual Dargaville Wearable Arts 2019. Live immersive visual performance inside the main hall and projection mapping outside on the historical Municipal Building were a wonderful way to celebrate a wonderful town.
Kim Newall’s hand-painted and personally animated projections took the audience on a journey from rainforest to an alternate universe of strange and surreal characters and images. All supported by beautiful costume entries from the local community and the fabulous live performances of Circus Kumarani.
