11.11 Armistice was a silent two night outdoor live visual projection performance commemorating Armistice Day. The work was a collaboration between AwhiWorld and Creative Northland and included WW100 commemoration content and original 2 and 3D animations.
The performance was a large scale projection onto the side of the library building in Whangarei CBD.

Kim Newall created original animations that emerge from his drawing and animation practice. Maggie curated existing archival images from WW100 publicity images and silhouette-based video footage provided by Channel North. Additional images were provided from the collection of Whangarei RSA member Ian Reid.

AwhiWorld’s logistics partner, Bell Tech supplied two, overlapping projection units for this event.
